Wiring in a wind turbine?
I have a typical yacht electrical system. couple banks of batteries 12 volt an inverter charger and a diesel genset also an AC plug in. I am adding an Air X wind turbine and would like to know how to wire it in. The manufacturer gives many examples for land based systems but not for boats even thou they are selling a "Marine" version.
Any takers?
If not for marine environment that it won't last long. As for the wiring is it A/C or DC currant if DC is it 12 volt
U will need to have a meter CONTROLLER and heavy wiring.everything U have will work and won't affect the turbine. it connects to the batters threw the controller just looked it up there is a marine version.

Why not sell wind turbines by having an agreement to buy if certain amount of people sign-up to buy at price?
I'm thinking start a website for people to sign up saying they will buy a wind turbine at a set price if so many other people agree as well. That way the manufacturers can know how much they will be making, and the prices will come way down. Do it.
Better yet why not just build one! you can build a wind turbine for a 5th of a commercial one and you get better efficiencies.
