I noticed that my heating wasn't working in my car so i checked so see if i needed any water which i did. I filled it up and drove about 6 miles and checked it again and it had gone down a lot. The temprature guage is fine though.
Any ideas what this could be and how to fix it?
Thanks for the answers, i've called the AA out to have a look, will give the best answer to the closest when i find out what it is.

Where can you buy a water pump?
I'm not talking about for a car. Just the standard water pump for you house. Ours won't click on when it's supposed to. First we had to hit the tank itself, and now we have to tap the box on top (I'm assuming some sort of fuse box as there are wires coming out of it). It's getting ridiculous and I'm just ready to buy a new one, but I'm not sure where all you can buy one.
We've discovered that for some reason, the switch won't do whatever (I failed basic electronics so bare with me, lol). The pump is about 15 years old and apparently it'll be cheaper and safer (and conserve more energy) to just buy a new one in the long run. And I promise I'm not getting near the wires or hitting it with anything but wood...if that helps at all. lol.
It's time for a new pump, this is not an appliance that you want to worry about or cut corners with. I would recommend a plumbing supply house that has a little better quality pump. Zoeller makes a very reliable submersible, you won't have to worry for another 15 years.
