biodiesel conversion
Diesel questions?

I was wondering if the conversion
for B20 Biodiesel on the GMC 2500HD
was a factory installed fleet
option only, or if it was possible
for some form of an after-market
conversion for this. I read in the
LLM 6.6 L Duramax manual that it
was only safe to use B5, but all
the stations around here only have
B20 or higher. I am currently in
Raleigh, NC. This isn’t a priority
question, but it would be nice to
know. Thanks.

there is a wealth of information on it here www.biodieselnow.org
you may need to replace your fuel lines, but the duramax has a steel gasketted distribution block, so there are no internal changes that need to be done, it is a fairly easy conversion.
