Where can I get vegetable oil for a car?
I’m about to get a 77 Mercedes-Benz that has a greasekit and can run on vegetable oil. Where can I get recycled vegetable oil, about how much will it cost, and how do I use it?
before you do anything with svo (straight vegetable oil) secure multiple sources. talk with owners and put 55 gal barrels out. I all ways tell everyone secure a source first. It don’t make any sense to convert a car/truck then find out theirs no free oil in you area.

go after peanut oil 1st at the Chinese restaurants, it’s the best. stay away from places that do just chicken, it’s too fatty, it works but you need to let it settle out for awhile. read up lots on forums and look at their pictures for ways how to collect and filter. everyone does something different. it’s a learning curve alright. if your not getting into this big time. then their are little units that filter right from the source. if your after this long term get into wvo centrifuge ’s.
