My dad and I wanted to install solar panels to heat out pool.We have an in ground pool. It holds 70,000 gallons. We were wondering how many panels would we need to install to heat it?We wanted to have a birthday party in november and were wondering if we could heat our pool to swim in with the solar panels? We live in Pa so it gets sortof cold in the winter.

We have gone through several solar covers for our pool, and our current one is ripping because its chlorine rotting due to last year.
I need to know, what is the best kind of solar cover i can buy?
Like should i use a cover, or try some of those panel things that connect to each other?

My brother had that problem. The way we fixed it, was to buy 5 - 6 blow up inner tubes,(car inner tubes will work too), fill them with air, and put them in the pool, along the sides. Then put the cover on. The inner tubes helped keep the cover from touching the water. Any blow up devise will work, (blow up rafts, beach balls, etc.) The bigger the pool, the more you need. It works great.
