Any electronics not specifically built to go underwater should not go underwater, since they may not have a watertight seal. They sell special submersible lights, though those are expensive.

I want to start a video game room in my basement and I want it to look really cool and glow like, but i don't no of any local stores that might sale neon, led, black lights...i no spencers is a great place to buy black lights but they don't sale any neon lights on a rope. Also I could use some tips on game room ideas please. Thanks!
Rope lights are good. They're pretty cheap (great if you're on a budget), available almost everywhere (Lowe's, K-Mart, Wal-Mart), and they are fun! There are specialty stores online where you can buy custom neon signs as well. You'll just need to Google it. For tips on decorating, you can try looking on hgtv.com or diynetwork.com That's where I get my inspiration. Hope I helped!
