I can find no place online where I can compare the power usage and price of equivalent incadecent, flourescent and LED lights. I am an engineer and most sites enjoy flooding you with "geek" talk about lumens vs distance etc. But there is no simple table I can find that would help me make a selection. Any ideas?

I have very high ceilings and try to find Bulb my needs perfectly. I want a very bright light, long life, low heat. Currently I have 100W lights. I would lights, but not sure what you need. I think it's day or the 6500 glossy. I looked around but can not understand what works for me and I need someone who knows enough to tell me what is the best and perhaps a link where you buy it.
