can you run a refrigerator on invertor ? how safe is it ?
i am planning to connect my refrigerator (of 1.5A rating) with the invertor ( a 850 VA one) having 180 AH batteries. Is it OK ???? my voltage is 230 volts single phase
I assume this is a 6V SLA battery with a 180 AH rating?
You're asking for >60amps from the battery. It's not going to last that long under that load.

I'm looking to use it while driving, and would like it to have live traffic updates. I've got an off brand phone, that's not on tomtom's list. but I do got a Laptop running xp pro, and has a moble internet connection. plus battery life not an issue as I got an invertor in the car to power it. I was thinking I could buy a reciver and map software but all the ones I found seem to be lacking in traffic updates, I can't even get it as an add on, or premium service. is there any programs out there that do this? if not what the cheepest console gps that does it all?
Btw, if anyone replys to this message simply telling me I need to learn how to spell I will report you. if your going to razz me on my spelling at least also say something useful!
okay so even if it's not cheep to have one with the traffic updates. shurely some models with that feature are cheeper then other models with it. so of the ones that do have it wich is the cheapest?
