I own an electric car import company. Google Flybo-EV in the US. We have a spectacular new design, and I tried to create it out of foam. It is much harder than it looks.
NO BS - If you have the ability to take my drawings & make a full-sized clay exterior (over a frame or something - you tell me) I will pay you for your time & expenses.
I have multiple estimates from the big design firms, and I just won't pay that amount of money. However, if you are talented, able, I can pay you some $$$ and you can get your name on a car design.
Suggestions on where I can look for that hungry student that dreams of future recognition?
Detroit has schools, even community colleges, that teach automotive design, and would doubtless have intern programs. A few examples I know of: Lawrence Tech University, Macomb Community College, Center for Creative Studies, Oakland University, Wayne Community College, and then the large universities here, University of Michigan, Michigan State University, Wayne State University.
