use an hho cell to clean carbon from engine, will this improve my fuel mileage? any one challenge this idea?
i recently built a hho cell from scratch, and metacafe videos. i hooked it up to my truck for about 45 min, in my driveway. there was alot of carbon blackened water coming out of my exhaust. i unhooked it, and drove to work. usually it takes me 1/4 tank of gas to drive to work and back. now i get that plus half another trip. i believe because the hho cleaned crap out of my engine that has been costing me fuel consumption. everyone who has trouble with these things, leave them hooked up and drive with them, what do you think?

I want to convert a 98 Pathfinder to a HHO or Hydrogen engine.?
How can I do that? Where can I buy a legitimate conversion kit? i have been looking all over online and I can't find anything in New York?
The HHO systems are a scam. the laws of physics completely put down their whole system. you are using energy from your system (in electricity from the alternator/ battery which your engine must charge) to split molecules of water, so you are putting it back into the system. however, this energy just gets used again in the system and you much factor in friction a second time. There is no way to put any more energy into the system other than using more of an energy rich substance, such as gas. water contains no useful energy (thats why you have to split it to burn it, but you only get back that what you just put in minus frictional and resistance losses.) Also, they can't say it improves combustion efficiency because newer cars (like anything fuel injected) already have 95-99% burn efficiency usually. so the whole story is bull.

Not hydrogen powered cars. those are legitimate and "hydrogen guy" has a very legitimate answer if you are looking for a hydrogen conversion.
