It could ruin your engine so it'll probably do more damage than good. You can buy treatments for diesel engines to clean it out and stuff, so buy one of those instead.
Diesal car or a petrol car- which do u prefer and why?
Some say diesal is better and other's say the opposite. Right now i'm driving a petrol car and am planning on buying a new car now. i saw a puegeot 206 at the garage today, but it's a diesal, very confused as to buy it or not. So please tell me which do u prefer, petrol or diesal and why?

Diesals are not slow..........unless you drive around with your eyebrows touching and behaving like a pillock.
The fuel is a bit dearer, but you do get that back in the extra miles per gallon.
Servicing is more expensive.
The fuel stinks if it gets on your hands, and the pumps at the garage always have deisal spills on the floor - so it'll get on your shoes too.
Easier to drive, as the extra torque from the engine means clutch control (Like a 3 point turn) is far easier. You could do a 3 pointer whilst leaving the engine on tickover.
Power steering is probably a must, the engines are heavy and can really make the front feel heavy when steering at slow speeds. Give one a test drive.
