so sometimes when i cook the pans with olive oil it gets too hot. so then i get burn marks. so when i get burn marks on the stainless steel pan i try to get it hot and cook it with soap and this works. so one time i put the hot pain in the porcelain sink and it burned the sink. i had no idea porcelain could burn. so now i have this burn mark so now i'm looking for a product i can i buy to put the hot pan on. we can't put the hot pan back on the stove because it is so hot it will further burn the pan. please post your opinions would love to find a product that can absorb the heat fast from the pan.
It's called a trivet. You can buy them anywhere...Walmart, kitchen store, bed and bath store, etc. In the meantime, can you temporarily set it on a pot holder for a short amount of time? Or a plate?
