Are LED lights on the bottom of your car illegal in Iowa? I am just curious because i am considering putting them on my car.
The legality of the different accessory or undercar lights does vary between different states, provinces, and in some cases the specific municipality. In some it could be the specific color, location on your vehicle or types of flashing. Your best bet is to contact your local police department and ask them what is and isn't allowed on your vehicle while driving on the roadway. This way you will avoid any surprises from your local authorities. The basic law states that you can not have them on a moving vehicle. As long as the car is stationary it should be no problem as an accent light. Unless it is a blue strobe light, depending on how tough the cop is he could be saying you are impersonating a police officer. Best solution is to install a switch for them and wire them to a parking light harness.
I am trying to install floor lights into my car. I have a Saturn Ion. What size and what company is best?
I don't want to buy the wrong size LED lights and then have trouble installing them in my car. I own a Black Saturn Ion. I want to put the floor lights most likely under the glove box area and under the wheel. and maybe somewhere else around inside the car. I only want interior lights. Anybody have any ideas how I can measure to find what size i need or does anyone have any ideas?
Will under the dash I would use the 9" or the 12" Both will fit. If you do under the seats I would use the 6" .This will be a little tricky because of the wires .
