How do I keep my Above ground pool cool?
We have no Trees or shade what so ever in my yard. During the summer our above ground pool heats up in the high 70s to 80s even.
Our pool becomes a giant hot tub instead of a place to cool off. In Alabama weather a nice chilled pool would be Nice.
Do you have any suggestions on how to keep my pool cool?
There are things called aerators which spray water back into the pool from the pump. The principle behind it is the water droplets cool off when exposed to the air, then drop into the pool, thus cooling it off a few degrees. A pool store should have things similar to this for above ground pools. This is very popular in Phoenix, where even in-ground pools reach temps into the 90’s.
