I want to operate a 6A 220V-50Hz machine on solar energy?
How many solar cells would I need to operate my machine for 24 hr if each solar
cell can produce 1.7 W 3.5 Imax 0.5 Vmax ,also I will use 4 (12 V 74A )car batteries with
an inverter of 2000W?
6A x 220V = 1,320 Watts.
1,320 / 1.7W = 776 cells.
If you want to charge the batteries (to run at night) *and* operate the machine, maybe double that.
You may wish to investigate if the machine uses 6A *maximum* or only worst-case (once in a long while)
power generation using an electric motor,24v alternator,power inverter 24v 5000w?
i have this ice cream machine,220v 2600w which i want to be mobile
by putting it in a vehicle ,i also have a 24v 200amp alternator and a 24v 5000w puresine power inverter, it is more easier for me to buy a genset
just like what most people advise but it uses petrol to run it
im thinking and i want to ask the experts if it is posibble to run the alternator using an electric motor ?if yes how many hp ?do i need a powerful electric motor to run an alternator to its maximum speed?
is this possible?
around a 5hp motor for good performance, but depending what vehicle you are adding the machine to, many things can be done for instance if there is space under the bonnet and the engine of the vehicle you can add your alternator to it, you just need a belt to drive it and mounting brackets, everything wastes petrol when you are running the ice cream machine it puts a load on the engine and it will increse its rpm so it will consume more fuel
